Requests guide
The request section is pretty simple but we have made some changes to this section, so I wanted to explain how it works now. Before the changes all visitors were able to see all requests made to us, and the list was growing each day. It was nearly impossible for us to see which celebrities had most requests, so we decided to make some changes.
Now it’s only the staff of Celebs Central who is able to see all requests, and we have an improved system to keep track of these. When a user makes a request it will be added to his/her list in the request section of our community. The request will stay on this list if the staff doesn’t delete it, and you’ll be able to see its status. When the status of a request changes to finish we have added the requests celebrity to our site. You will also receive a message in your community inbox when the status is changed.
You might be thinking “Why would the staff delete a request?” Well, there are a couple of answers to this question. The request section is not here to request updates, only new celebrities. This means if we get a request for Britney Spears it will be deleted, since she has been on the site from the beginning. Another reason could be that we just couldn’t find any information on the celebrity you requested. If this is the reason we will add it to the message we send.
