Anna Faris Gets Wedding BannedYes, you wait ages for an Anna Faris news story and then two come along at once. The actress will be starring opposite Robin Williams in Wedding Banned, which (unsurprisingly for Faris) is a rom-com but (surprisingly for Williams) sounds to have a mildly promising premise. Faris will play Williams' daughter, who he kidnaps on her wedding day, aided by his estranged ex-wife, so that the long-divorced couple can stop their daughter from making the same mistake that they did. But as the pair and their hostage try to avoid police and Faris' angry groom, the couple - you'll never guess - rekindle their old spark. And everyone learns a valuable lesson, we suppose. There's no director attached just yet, so much depends on who they find to take the reins. Jack Amiel and Michael Begler wrote the script, which we've got to hope is better than some of their previous efforts, The Shaggy Dog or Raising Helen. Still, Faris is a great light comedienne, and Williams can still be funny - right?
