New Orleans Mayor Brad Pitt - Would Angelina Jolie Be First Lady? Supporters of Brad Pitt entering politics have added a T-shirt shop in New Orleans to their ranks. The owner of Storyville, Josh Harvey, says the first "Brad Pitt for Mayor" T-shirt has been designed and is on sale at his store. Harvey said a local movement to put Pitt into the mayor's job, one that was made highly controversial in the wake of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster, is sounding "less and less crazy". Pitt took a personal interest in flood victims and the Big Easy, making The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in the city. The T-shirt featuring him was designed by a Tulane University professor who invited the store to use the motif. "Brad Pitt is someone who's really done a lot for the City of New Orleans and the more people are talking about it, it sounds less and less crazy, especially with Governor [Arnold] Schwarzenegger and Al Franken about to be sworn in as the US senator from Minnesota," Harvey said. The store owner said a portion of the proceeds from the Pitt sales goes toward the actor's Make It Right Foundation, which sells its own line of T-shirts, baseball caps and other items to fund new homes.

High Earner Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie has topped Forbes magazine's annual list of Hollywood's Top-Earning Actresses. The 'Salt' star raked in an impressive $27 million between June 2008 and June 2009. Angelina beat her partner Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, who came second in the list with earnings of $25 million. In a statement, the magazine said: "Much of Angelina's earnings came from her share of the profits on 'Wanted', but she also scored a fat upfront cheque for 'Salt', an action film originally slated to star Tom Cruise, in which Jolie plays a CIA agent who is accused of being a Russian spy." 'Mamma Mia' star Meryl Streep was placed third with an income of $24 million, while 'Sex and the City' actress Sarah Jessica Parker came fourth with $23 million in earnings. Cameron Diaz was ranked fifth generating $20 million, while Reese Witherspoon and Sandra Bullock tied for sixth place after making $15 million each. Nicole Kidman and Drew Barrymore tied for eighth place, followed by Renee Zellweger. The magazine compiled the list after speaking to agents, managers, producers and lawyers.

Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston Are Hollywood Top-Earning Actresses Most of Jolie's income came from her share of the profits from her action film "Wanted," but she was also paid a large upfront sum for her role in "Salt," the study said. Jolie and Pitt have six children. Aniston, who was married to Pitt before he became involved with Jolie, earned most of her millions from the romantic comedy "Marley and Me" and her upcoming film "The Baster." "Aniston also still earns money from (reruns of TV series) Friends and she gets a nice paycheck shilling for Glaceau's SmartWater," Forbes.com said. Meryl Streep came in at No. 3 with $24 million, most of which came from her role in "Mamma Mia," while Sarah Jessica Parker was ranked fourth with $23 million in earnings following the movie version of TV series "Sex and the City." Cameron Diaz rounds out the top five, banking $20 million between June 2008 and June 2009. Forbes.com said it spoke to agents, managers, producers and lawyers to work out what actresses were paid upfront for movies they are currently shooting and what pay they might have earned after a movie hit the theaters. Money earned from perfume or clothing lines was also taken into account. "As is still typical for Hollywood, our actresses earned significantly less than their male counterparts," Forbes.com said, pointing out that the top earning male actor, Harrison Ford, made $65 million. Angelina Jolie Film No Longer "Lost" A 'lost' film in which Angelina Jolie made her screen debut at the age of five is to be released on DVD for the first time. The screen beauty played the daughter of her real-life estranged father, Jon Voight, in flick, Lookin' To Get Out. The Las Vegas-set comedy, directed by Hal Ashby, was shot in 1980 on a budget of $17 million, but did not get a theatrical release until two years later. It was a huge critical and box-office failure – selling less than a million dollars worth of tickets. And it has never been available on video until Tuesday's DVD release of the newly edited version. Jolie's scene with Voight lasts just over a minute. He explains to the blonde child that he's wearing bandages because he crossed against traffic and that he comes from New York. The girl replies that the man she believes is her father – Ann-Margret's male companion in the movie, played by Richard Bradford – "visits New York" a lot. "I was a co-writer and co-producer, so I had a lot to say about the casting," said Voight, 70. He told the newspaper: "Angie was terrific, very well-prepared. I wasn't looking for any signs whether she'd be an actress." Tomb Raider actress Jolie, 34, has been estranged from her father for several years after he accused her of having "serious mental problems" on a US TV show.
